About MoneyFlux and its developer
An independent app for people who want to see their money clearly without giving a bank login to anyone.

Why MoneyFlux exists
MoneyFlux started with a common frustration. Money is spread across a card in one country, an account in another, some cash and a crypto wallet. Most finance apps either want a bank login they can’t support anyway, ask for every purchase to be typed in by hand, or make up an exchange rate and show one total that means nothing.
But every bank already offers a statement file with every transaction in it. So MoneyFlux is built around that file: download it, open it in the app, check it and import. From there the app keeps going where spending trackers usually stop: subscriptions and money lent to friends, net worth that shows which assets pay you and which cost you, savings goals, and a trading journal that checks the calls of the people you follow.
What we believe
- You own your ledger. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no trackers. Records live in your own private iCloud, and you can export or delete all of them.
- Honest numbers. No invented exchange rates, no totals that mix currencies, no “AI insights” that make up figures. The optional assistant only writes sentences about totals your device already calculated.
- Say what it doesn’t do. MoneyFlux doesn’t connect to banks, doesn’t convert currencies, doesn’t have category budgets and has no live price feed. We would rather you know that before you install.
- Not advice. MoneyFlux is a record-keeping tool. It never tells you what to buy, sell or pay.
Who makes it
MoneyFlux is designed and developed by Taras Chernysh, an independent iOS developer from Ukraine. He also makes Tenly, a goal-setting journal for iPhone. More about his work is at taraschernysh.com.
The app is available in English, Ukrainian and Russian, and this website in English and Ukrainian. MoneyFlux is not affiliated with any bank mentioned on this site.
